Autumn Prayer

 

Teach me Lord to see

The colors on each tree

Before the leaves turn crisp and brown

Swirling, falling on the ground.

 

Help me God to hear

Your Word upon my ear

Amid the bad news of each day

Show all you are the Truth and Way.

 

Thank you Father for Grace

Punishing your Son in my place

Grant worldly striving cease

To prompt us to your peace.
